A customer came to us for a very special movement of a Merlin engine which was used in the Battle of Britain. This consignment was delivered safely to the Heritage Museum in London.

We were privilaged enough to be asked to help in the dismantling and transportation of this 137-year-old railway bridge in St Austell.

Our newest Artic crane lorry with 65PT crane and 7 extensions was the perfect tool for the job.

We collected the sections of the bridge in the early hours of the morning from St Austell and delivered them to Helston.

Serbia Delivery

Our LCS traffic team received a call in the early hours of Monday morning from a customer in Cornwall who required a dedicated delivery of high value components before the end of the week to Kovin, Serbia.

We were advised the consignment would not be ready until Tuesday late morning but had to be delivered by Friday 1700.  The customer required a 3.5t C/S van air ride van – our driver was tracked throughout the delivery to provide constant updates to the client as well as keeping them up to date with the customs process.

UK customs was cleared Tuesday evening at Dover, the goods required a Chamber of Commerce stamp and travelled under an EUR 1. We cleared customs at Smederevo, Serbia early on Friday morning for onward delivery to Kovin, Serbia by midday.

At 0800hrs one morning LCS took a phone call from a member of staff at Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club. They had an unusual situation in whereby one of the first team players had forgotten his passport.  The team bus was already passed Andover, well on their way to London Heathrow Airport for a Heineken cup fixture.

“LCS to the rescue”

 LCS managed to scramble a driver and collect his passport from a fellow team member at Exeter Chiefs ground and deliver it directly to the player at London Heathrow Airport before he missed the team flight.
